The RS-1’s are an AWESOME shock! Huge improvement over the previous brand of shocks I had been running on my Road Glide! I am using the 13” Heavy Duty version due to total rider weight and I feel like I’m floating over roadway imperfections...Best decision I could have made for my rear suspension!
Installed on a 2020 FLTRX. Had previously replace the stock ones with 13" Works Performance, better than stock but still not what I was looking for. Installed the 14" RWD RS-1 standard duty shocks and I couldn't be happier. I'm 6'2" 220lbs, have to slide forward a bit in my Corbin seat to get my heels flat. I have the preload ring at about 1/4" and the sag is perfect. Have yet to put the mrs on back so no info on that. Installed these the same time as Fox cartridge kit in front, Alloy Art chassis link, and Bungking bars. Rides almost like a dyna now. Definitely recommend if your going for a performance bagger. Also Matt Laidlaw says these are now his go to shock.
Awesome great shocks , great customer service , product knowledge , definatly returning for more parts in future
Great service, arrived on time , good instructions, packaged well.
I love these things. I had the stock air shocks and felt every bump in the road. The stocks never felt stable at high speeds. After installing these RS-1s it completely changed how the bike handles. The bike feels planted in every turn. It’s not too stiff for the freeway and the adjustability is a nice option for going from commute to canyons. I have racetec fronts and they pair pretty well with these. Super easy to install. Only hiccup was I had to switch to a shorty exhaust with the 14” height. The swing arm wouldn’t clear the slipons.
